前几天，土耳其军队开始进入叙利亚北部，对库尔德武装展开军事行动。这一事件引发全球关注，也有很多美国媒体纷纷来报道前线新闻，只不过其中一家却“翻车”了！

本周一，美国广播公司新闻（ABC News）承认，在一段他们声称是“土耳其攻击在叙利亚北部库尔德人”的视频，实际上内容则是2017年美国肯塔基的一段射击秀。

ABC News has acknowledged that a video it aired claiming to show a Turkish attack against Kurds in northern Syria was in fact old footage from a 2017 gun show in Kentucky.



ABC新闻分别于美国时间周日的《今晚世界新闻》和周一的《早安美国》节目中播出了这段视频。

The clip aired on ABC’s World News Tonight on Sunday and on Monday’s Good Morning America.

在周日的节目中，主播Tom Llamas介绍这段视频“显示出土耳其军队对叙利亚边境城市的库尔德平民进行轰炸打击。”同时，这段视频还用大写英文字母标注了“叙利亚发生屠杀”字样。视频中，镜头内出现大规模的爆炸，还可以看到炮弹飞过的痕迹点亮夜空。

‘This video, right here, appearing to show Turkey’s military bombing Kurd civilians in a Syrian border town,’ ABC World News Tonight anchor Tom Llamas said on Sunday’s broadcast.The clip, which had the caption ‘SLAUGHTER IN SYRIA’ in the foreground, shows massive explosions and balls of fire light up the night sky as bullet traces whiz by.
 



ABC新闻的海外记者Ian Pannell则表示“ABC新闻拿到的这段视频，是土耳其在两个晚上前攻击边境城市Tal Abyad的猛烈状况。”

Foreign correspondent Ian Pannell also discussed the footage, saying, "this video, obtained by ABC News, appears to show the fury of the Turkish attack on the border town of Tal Abyad two nights ago."

不过，节目播出后不久，就有人发现不对劲了！

However, some quickly questioned the authenticity of the video.

不少网友指出，ABC新闻的这段视频，与2017年4月YouTube上的一段视频很相似。YouTube上的标题为“2017年Knob Creek夜间射击（Knob Creek night shoot 2017）”，即在美国肯塔基Knob Creek户外射击场举行的一场射击表演活动。

A number of people on social media noted on Monday that the clip strongly resembled a video uploaded to YouTube in April 2017. The title “Knob Creek night shoot 2017” referred to an evening machine gun event held by the Knob Creek Gun Range in Kentucky.



据《商业内幕》网站报道，原始视频中可以看到在不断的爆炸中，自动武器发射出曳光弹，外围还有不少人拿着手机拍摄。然而，在ABC的新闻中，却没有出现这些观众。

The original footage showed tracer rounds being fired by automatic weapons amid explosions, as a group of people filmed the tracer rounds on their cell phones. The onlookers from the original video were not pictured in the broadcast.

新闻网站Gizmodo通过逐帧对比后认为，可以确定这两部视频相同。

只不过Gizmodo指出，尚不清楚视频在提交给ABC新闻之前是否经过编辑。从原始视频可以看到拿着手机拍摄的人群，而ABC播出的视频中的色彩饱和度要低一些。

It’s unclear if the video may have been slightly manipulated before it was handed to ABC News. But the unedited video from Kentucky shows people holding up their phones to capture the destruction, while the video broadcast by ABC News appears to have colors that are less saturated than the original.

来自Knob Creek射击场的一位员工则表示，“目前来看，视频内容确实是我们这里。”

A spokesman for the Knob Creek Gun Range said that ABC News's footage initially appears to be of the gun shoot. "As of right now," the spokesperson said, "it seems to be our footage." 

随后，ABC新闻迅速反应，在承认出错的同时下架这一视频。

ABC News said it regretted the error on Monday and took down the video segment.

在声明中ABC新闻表示，在出现对视频准确性的质疑后，他们拿下了“今晚世界新闻”和“早安美国”两档节目中疑似来自叙利亚边境的内容，并且对播出错误表示遗憾。

"We've taken down video that aired on 'World News Tonight' Sunday and 'Good Morning America' this morning that appeared to be from the Syrian border immediately after questions were raised about its accuracy," the network said in a statement. "ABC News regrets the error."

两档节目在推特上发表了更正声明：



ABC新闻的这一番操作，还引起了美国总统特朗普的注意。在当地时间周三的白宫发布会上，特朗普对ABC新闻的记者说：“我甚至不清楚ABC是否道歉了，但是这肯定是件糟糕的事情。看的时候我就说‘这太糟糕了’，而且事情还发生在肯塔基，不在叙利亚。所以，我不知道你们在做些什么，但是我觉得ABC需要做个道歉。”

“So I’m not even sure that ABC apologized for that, but certainly it was a terrible thing. I’m looking at this. I say ‘wow that’s pretty bad,’ and it was in Kentucky,” US President Donald Trump said. “It wasn’t in Syria, so I don’t know what you’re going to do about that. But I think ABC owes an apology.” 

ABC新闻的消息爆出后，很多网友都坐不住了：

“假新闻，人民公敌！”（引用了特朗普的言论）

 
“ABC新闻在播出新闻的时候，是清楚自己所作所为的。并不需要是真的，但是播出后很多人会信以为真，他们就不会再接受其他事实了。”


“不只是假新闻，还有假视频！”

 
“天啊，假新闻实锤！当他们这样做的时候，主流媒体还怎么期待大家去相信他们？”

 
据新华网报道，土耳其长期以来将叙北部库尔德武装视为恐怖组织。本月9日，土耳其军队进入叙利亚北部，对库尔德武装展开军事行动。叙利亚对此予以谴责，并表示将采取一切合法手段进行抗击。
