当双十一不再仅仅是“光棍节”,网友们在这一天剁起手来,倒是愈发积极了!

阿里巴巴将双十一从单身人士的“节日”,变为了购物盛会。今年天猫双十一又推出各种优惠,其成交额再次刷新纪录——仅用时96秒,成交额就达到100亿元,比去年双十一的125秒还要快!

Alibaba, which turned a day - also known as Double Eleven - for Chinese youngsters to celebrate singleness into an annual shopping extravaganza, raked in its first 10 billion yuan in sales after 96 seconds - faster than the 125 seconds last year - after discounts on everything from toilet paper to furniture to cosmetics took effect.

截至11日17分06秒,天猫双十一销售额突破571亿元,已经超过2014年双十一全天总成交额!


 
破1000亿仅用时1小时3分59秒。而去年,这一数据为1小时47分。



据环球时报英文版网站报道,双十一这天,销售数据会升级更新。2018年双十一全天,阿里巴巴的销售额就达到了2135亿元,比美国“黑色星期五”和“网络星期一”的销售额加起来还多!

Sales figures will be upgraded throughout the 24-hour sales event. In 2018, Alibaba alone raked in total sales of 213.5 billion yuan, eclipsing combined sales for the US Black Friday and Cyber Monday sales events.

阿里巴巴董事长兼CEO张勇表示,今年双十一也不再仅仅是购物盛会,同时也是品牌成长和与用户互动的好机会。

"It is more than a shopping festival — it is also an occasion for brands to grow and interact with consumers," said Alibaba chairman and CEO Daniel Zhang said. 

阿里巴巴表示,今年共有20万个品牌参与双十一,提供超过100万份新产品,预计有5亿用户参与,比去年增加1亿。另外,预计消费者可以从品牌活动及平台优惠券上节省500亿元。

Alibaba said more than 200,000 brands are participating in the 11th Singles Day gala, with 1 million new products being offered and more than 500 million users forecast to spend, 100 million more than last year. It added that the estimated consumer savings from brand and platform promotions and coupons could reach 50 billion yuan.
 


从10月21日开始的预售阶段,就有超过64个品牌的成交额突破1亿元,品牌数量是去年的两倍。

More than 64 brands achieved over 100 million yuan in gross merchandise volume in the pre-order phase from Oct 21, which was twice the number of brands compared to last year, the company said.

我国商务部公布数据显示,今年前三季度,消费对整体经济增长的贡献率为60.5%,零售额同比增长8.2%,达到29.7万亿元。

In the first three quarters of the year, consumption contributed 60.5 percent of overall growth, with retail sales growing 8.2 percent year-on-year to 29.7 trillion yuan, according to the Ministry of Commerce.

同样在今年双十一,直播带货成为产品推广中至关重要的一环,阿里巴巴在网红身上投入颇巨,从而增加其淘宝软件的使用。

Live-streamers are also set to play a prominent role in product promotions this year, as the internet giant heavily invests in online influencers to increase engagement on its Taobao app.

除了巨额成交额,今年双十一也有其他方面的积极变化,相关监管部门在诸如不正当竞争、价格操纵、以及假冒伪劣产品等问题的预防上迅速采取了行动。

Apart from the huge sales, other positive developments were also seen as part of this year Singles' Day event, as regulators moved swiftly to prevent issues such as unfair competition, price manipulation and counterfeits, which were prevalent in previous events.

截至11日下午14时21分27秒,天猫表示成交额已经超过2000亿元,比去年提前8小时7分10秒!



最终,天猫双十一的成交额达到2684亿,再创新高!



双十一购物盛会同样引发外媒关注。而霉霉也成为了双十一晚会现场瞩目的焦点。

福布斯在报道中指出,目前双十一是全球最大规模的购物活动,去年的成交额超过300亿美元,而今年可能达到370亿美元。

It has become by far and away the largest shopping event in the world, raking in just over $30 billion in gross merchandise volume last year—and sales are expected to hit $37 billion by that same metric this year, according to Forrester Forecasts.

中国消费者可以在阿里巴巴的淘宝和天猫网站购物,国际用户则需要使用AliExpress.com。

Chinese consumers can shop on Alibaba’s main websites, Taobao and Tmall, to find the biggest deals, while international shoppers must use AliExpress.com.

此外,今年双十一是创始人马云在9月份离开董事长位置后,阿里巴巴经历的第一个双十一活动。

2019 will be Alibaba’s first year organizing 11/11 without founder Jack Ma at the helm, after he man stepped down from his position as chairman in September.
